Just sayin’…
As the demand for pocket gadgets, electric vehicles, solar panels, MRI machines and jet engines surges, there is one worrying statistic to contend with – mining just one tonne of rare earth minerals creates some 2000 tonnes of toxic waste.
Clearly a well balanced approach that is not going to get us to net zero with minimal environmental impact !
In my opinion, net zero should not be at all costs.
Maybe we just need to stop consuming so much stuff. 🫤
