Being Client Focussed and amicable at the same time is at the core of what we do and how we do things. This can happen in different ways and can mean a lot of different things.
We see being Client-Focussed on their needs as an attitude thing, it’s just how we are. It’s about making things possible, plans to flow together, all to help support Clients and to help them accomplish what they set out to do. It’s about being pro-active, providing assistance, getting on and just doing things, without being asked or reminded.
We know that life is busy and hectic enough as it is without adding in a building project ! So, our general approach is to provide a great service that makes things as easy as possible for our customers. We desire to reduce the hassle factor to a bare minimum.
It’s about caring and trying to do a really good job in the first place, which often means going the extra mile when nobody will ever notice, except us.
All construction projects are time consuming and disruptive…
…with elements of uncertainty, therefore, we try to take care of everything with minimum involvement from our Clients.
This results in their time and money being saved and allows them to concentrate on more important issues such as their family or work.
Once we are employed to help on a project we’ll be on hand to organise and co-ordinate everything so our Clients don’t have to. All they have to do is check the designs and drawings and we will do the rest. We’ll sometimes pay Planning Application fees on our Clients behalf to speed things along [and claim the cost back], we’ll set up meetings with the right people at the right time, we’ll organise all the other consultants needed [including organising quotes and co-ordinating their work], we’ll ensure all the relevant legislation is tackled appropriately at the right time. If employed for the Advance Package we’ll source reliable and honest building contractors who are a good match for a particular project, we’ll obtain accurate quotes on our customers behalf, we’ll help control the costs so there are no hidden extras at the end and our Clients know exactly where their hard earned money is going + we’ll be on site regularly to repeatedly communicate the design intentions and check the quality, so nothing is lost in translation.
However our Clients choose to work with us we will always produce a fully co-ordinated design package, including specialist structural design. This means our Clients can approach building contractors with confidence to obtain accurate prices and get things built correctly, as expected.

We understand that due to busy, changeable lives it is not always possible to meet or talk during the daytime. Therefore, we are available most evenings and weekends to fit in with our Clients schedule. Sometimes we start our Client meetings at 8pm [after the children are in bed] and don’t finish until past 10pm. We don’t know of any other traditional firms who operate this way.
We have also built-up very effective relationships with many other construction specialists, such as Planning Consultants, Fire Safety Consultants, Energy Consultants, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and other associated professionals. If we think our customers should use the services of such experts we will only recommend firms we are confident of working with. We’ve done the homework so our Clients don’t have to.
The bottom-line benchmark is that it’s just simply about being nice to other people and treating them as you would like to be treated.
So, sit back and relax, we’ve got your corner and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
