We presented two distinct floor plan options: Option A, a bold concept born from our initial consultation, and Option B, the client’s original vision. The response to Option A? A delightful surprise!

The Power of Clever Extension Design: Seeing Beyond the Obvious

Our clients’ feedback highlighted the transformative power of well-crafted and clever extension design. Initially, they couldn’t quite envision Option A, but seeing it laid out in detail changed everything. “Option A has kind of surprised us a little,” they shared. “I think previously we thought this layout would not work / could not see it – but the way which you have planned everything out [including the sliding doors into a little snug] have given us a lot to think about!!! It is a very clever use of space and seeing it drawn up really helps us now visualise what that would look like.“

Something the client has said she now would value is the ability to have a big table next to the kitchen where the family can meet and socialise. “When we go on holiday, we always pick a house where there is a big table / open kitchen and it’s so nice to sit around play games etc. This clever revised extension design really enables this…“
