Woodhouse Health Centre Site Progress

Life continues to be super busy in the Ikonografik Design studio with several projects on the go at different stages. The building work for the Woodhouse Health Centre project in Sheffield is progressing very well, Phase 1 is nearly complete. The extension element is nearly finished with internal fit out moving at speed, the partitions, plumbing and electrics are nearly complete with the bespoke joinery seating, reception counters, glazed screens and work desks being fabricated in the workshop ready for installation soon.

It’s fair to say this project continues to be challenging and time consuming as dealing with an existing building is never straightforward, coupled with complex electrical and alarm systems that need to comply with the latest regulations and a healthcare building that also needs to comply with the latest NHS infection control regimes. But, it is rewarding seeing the culmination of several years hard work come together, made all the better by a good construction team.

All being well Phase 1 should be finished within the next month or so with Phase 2 starting a few weeks after. Watch this space for more photos.

PS – the white boxes on the gable walls should have been re-centred correctly now!
